Fantastic night at Glenmuick Church, Ballater last night. The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay were the guests of honour for the launch of Immortal Memory, our new CD. The choir has performed for Her Majesty the Queen in Aberdeen and Balmoral, and for HRH the Duchess of Cornwall in the Music Department of Aberdeen University. It regularly tours, and has visited Poland, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Northern Ireland and New York City. It has performed all over the UK and was especially delighted to sing live on BBC Radio 3 at the BBC Proms in both 2014 and 2016, when it performed Verdi’s Messa da Requiem as part of the BBC Proms Youth Choir with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, under the baton of renowned American conductor Marin Alsop.
